Chief Executive Recruitment
Welcome to bpha, a forward-thinking housing association, on a mission to build thriving communities where people can live happily in a home they can afford.
A welcome from our Chair
Thank you for your interest in becoming bpha’s next CEO.
This is a rare opportunity to lead and develop a successful organisation, that is proud to be driven by its social heart and purpose.
Our next CEO will share the passion of both our employees and my Board colleagues to continue to provide quality, affordable housing and services that improve our local communities and the environment.
Following the excellent nine-year tenure of our retiring CEO, Kevin Bolt, his successor will have the opportunity to continue making excellent progress in achieving our strategic goals: improving engagement with, and services to our customers; maintaining and improving existing homes and places; building more quality and sustainable homes; and shaping our future as a leading social housing provider in our operating area, spanning the area between Oxford and Cambridge.
Our new CEO will reflect our values, while possessing the experience, fresh thinking, and energy to lead us through the significant challenges faced by the housing sector.
You will no doubt have heard that the discussions between bpha, Flagship and Futures are no longer progressing. We are continuing to focus on ensuring we have robust and resilient governance and financial arrangements in place for the future. Despite the financial, policy and political uncertainty and turbulence of the past many months, bpha is in good health. We have maintained a robust financial position, developed closer relationships with our customers, have high colleague engagement, a healthy development programme and a clear commitment and plan to reduce our carbon footprint and protect and improve the environment.
If you would like to become a significant part of bpha and help us deliver our vision, I would encourage you to apply and look forward to talking with you soon.
Dr Paul Leinster CBE
